Linda has worked in the travel industry for 30 years - she began her career as an outside sales consultant with Destination Travel Co, and seven years later took over as owner and manager.
Linda especially loves to plan vacations for groups - the more unique the destination or itinerary, the better! Her two favorite aspects of working in the travel industry are the variety of travel plans a work day can bring, and the fantastic clients she has come to know and befriend over the years.
Linda's favorite travel destination is Italy, particularly the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany.
Besides travel, Linda loves to cook and spend time with her family.
Shelly has worked with Destination Travel Co for seventeen years and is happy to plan vacations of all varieties, although her favorite trips to arrange include cruises, all-inclusive resort vacations, Globus tours, and Avalon Waterways river cruises. Her favorite part of working as a travel agent is planning special memories for clients.
Shelly's most memorable vacations include Italy, Greece, and cruising the British Isles with a visit to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Ruth Ann retired from her career with American Airlines and has worked for Destination Travel Co for approximately 20 years.
Ruth Ann really likes to help clients plan cruise vacations, all-inclusive resort getaways, destination weddings, and other sorts of active vacations. She also works with businesses to arrange incentive travel as a reward for their hardworking employees.
Ruth Ann often jokes that her favorite destination is "her next one!" She looks forward to any vacation, no matter the duration or location; however, you are most likely to find her on a cruise ship or at an all-inclusive resort.
Outside of travel planning, Ruth Ann's interests include yoga (she is an instructor), swimming, and other outdoor activities. She enjoys all of the fun attractions, events, and activities Northeast Ohio has to offer.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts, a beloved brand among travel agents, has announced an opening date for their first Nickelodeon Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. (Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana opened in 2016 and has been very popular with families.)
The resort is scheduled to open in spring/summer 2019 and will feature Aqua Nick, an almost 5oo,ooo square foot waterpark that includes a lazy river, toddler water playgound, waterslides, dining options, and more.
Because the Karisma brand is known for its culinary offerings (the Gourmet Inclusive Experience), the resort will boast six restaurants that feature menu items served with produce grown at the company's greenhouse at the nearby El Dorado Royale Riviera Maya Resort.
Accommodations will include character-themed penthouses, oceanfront swim-up rooms, and more.
Why we're excited:
Karisma resorts are highly regarded in the industry, and provide clients, whether adults or children, great resort experiences. The food is always a standout, and the resorts feel more upscale without being stuffy. Having another resort with a great waterpark is very exciting for the area, and because we send more clients to Mexico than any other all-inclusive destination, we are thrilled to have another activity-packed, fun family resort to offer.
